Channel 6 reported that police arrested 41 year old Josh Eckman of Utica NY after he became unruly and violent while at Penn Highlands hosptial in Tyrone. Police say that eckman was making crude comments while waiting in the hospital waiting room, after he was brought there via a courtesy ride. Eckman allegedly spit on Tyrone police officers after he was handcuffed. He was the brought to UPMC Altoona,where he continued to spit on hospital staff while resisting arrest. He was arraigned yesterday, charged with assault of a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Eckman is locked up in the Blair County jail, on $30,000 bail.
