Classes were canceled yesterday after district officials reported receiving a threat about a planned school shooting incident. That threat was received on Monday afternoon. Now officials have canceled classes for a second consecutive day in order to make sure that it is safe for students and employees to return to class. Superintendent Amy Arcurio says that investigators are making progress in finding whoever is responsible for making the threat, and that person will be held accountable. The district has been closed since Monday, which was the MLK holiday.
