According to a WTAJ report, Giant, Martins and Giant Heirloom stores will be collecting non perishable foods to donate to school hunger relief programs. Items to donate include canned fruit. Vegetables, tuna, chicken, cereal, granola bars and other non perishable items. You can donate these items at the supermarkets from now thru next Monday. Giant is also asking shoppers to round up their bill totals thru February 28th to the next dollar, so the company can donate all that money to school districts food programs. All Giant and Martins customers can convert their rewards points into donations as well.
