An Altoona Mirror report suggests that commissioner Amy Webster has decided to run again for office. Webster was elected in 2019, and says that her first term in office has given her the experience to continue on as commissioner. Webster stated during her announcement that she has consistantly voted against property tax increases for Blair County residents. Webster says her focus will be on increasing local business opportunities and keeping spending and taxes low. Webster will run as a republican in the may primary.
