News reports indicate that Altoona, Logan Twp and PA State Police were all called to hunt down 37 year old Robert Powers after he allegedly broke into 4 different homes around the city during a short crime wave on Monday afternoon. The report states that bowers entered the homes and terrorized several citizens, physically assaulting three, threatening one woman with a knife after kicking in her front door, choking another woman telling her he was “batman” and terrorized another man, stealing his truck and causing a crash on Grandview road. Powers told police he apparently took bath salts or meth before the rampage began. He was taken to UPMC Altoona then arrested and charged with numerous felonies and misdemeanors. He is in the Blair County prison on $500,000 bond.
