WTAJ reports that Altoona Police arrested 52 year old Jennifer Potts for allegedly stealing money using the victims debit card for a period of 6 months. According to the report, Potts was given the victim’s debit card to purchase groceries beginning last February. Then Potts did not show up for work for several months, claiming to be sick and in the hospital for 3 months. The victim then told police she noticed money was missing from her bank account during that time period, and that a rent check had bounced. Potts is accused of stealing more than $16,000 to pay accounts on Facebook Pay, CashApp and Amazon Digital. Potts is charged with multiple felonies.
