The games officially kickoff tonite with a special opening day ceremony at the seven springs ski resort in somerset county. Special Olympic athletes from across PA will converge for two days of competition. Even through the region is enjoying springlike weather, the games will go on. Events will include alpine skiing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Tonite’s opening ceremony is set for 7:30 and is open to the general public. The games will conclude on Thursday night.
