The Altoona Mirror reports that Carol Taylor has announced she will run for Blair County Commissioner. Taylor, ran unsuccessfully last fall for PA State Senator, losing to incumbent Judy Ward. Taylor, says that the county is using the prison system to handle issues such as substance abuse and mental heath issues. Taylor says that mental health issues lead to substance abuse, and the county needs a better way of getting people the help they need. Taylor ran as a democrat in the fall.
