According to the report by WTAJ, police arrested 52 year old Carol Sumner of Bellefonte for allegedly stealing some $65,000 from her own father. The reports states that Sumner was reportedly sending money to people all over the country, and to foreign countries as well. She even told police that she sent some of the money to actor Kevin Costner. Sumner told police that she used the money to help pay bills in other parts of the country for people she apparently didn’t know. Her father told police he was signing papers of which he had no knowledge of what he was signing in reference to the money transfer. Sumner is charged with theft among other charges.
