News reports indicate the incumbent Laura Burke has announced another run for the office. Burke was elected to the commissioners office in 2019, and says that her first 4 year term has prepared her for a second run. Burke lists some of her accomplishments as improving morale among county workers, working through the pandemic and finishing the feasibility study for upgraded pay for county employees. The field is at least 6 for commissioner. The primary is scheduled for springtime.
