The Altoona Mirror reports that Shelly Clinich has announced she will run for council. Clinich says that if elected, her focus will be on blighted and abandoned properties, and to fight bureaucracy . Clinich says that he city is looking for new sources of revenue, and it can be found with new business for the city, and not from the wallets of taxpayers. Clinich says she has seen blight in other depressed areas of pa and other states, and says that same look is now in Altoona neighborhoods. Clinich is listed as a republican.
