Television news reports suggest that police have charged attorney Michael Cohen of altering legal documents in order to help a client fight a protection from abuse violation. The court papers against his client, Tyler Port were dated march 14th, and the judge presiding signed them on the 15th. Detectives also reported that they have Cohen on video surveillance bringing the legal papers to the judge on march 15th. Cohen now is facing charges including tampering with public records, evidence tampering, hindering apprehension and obstruction of law. He is free on bail.
