A report yesterday indicated that congress is trying to get answers from the giant social media platform, but can’t seem to get the answers they want. Blair county congressman Dr. John Joyce said that Tik Tok is both a private and national security threat, and congress should move ahead to shut down the popular site. He said that Tik Tok, run by the communist Chinese government, can monitor what you listen to, what you view, and track every keystroke you make in order to try and steal your personal information. Congressman Joyce is urging paretns to remove the app from their childrens devices. Tik Tok CEO Shou Zi Chew told members of congress that privacy is a great concern for Tik Tok. Cong Joyce said that Americans should use American based applications in which to communicate on.
