News out of Washington says that the Senator, who has been hospitalized for the past 5 weeks for clinical depression has made progress and is expected to return to the senate chamber soon. Some doctors said that patients that suffer a stroke, often go into depression. A spokesperson for Fetterman said that he is recovering, and that he is receiving daily updates, and is apparently reading the news and sponsoring legislation while he recovers. Pa Senator Bob Casey, said he has not spoken to Fetterman because he doesn’t want him flooded with phone calls while he is recovering. Casey also said he has no idea when Fetterman will be back to work.
