Last fall we reported to,you about Jacob Runyan of Ohio, and Chase Cominsky of Hermitage allegedly stuffing walleye fish to try and win the grand prize at a fishing tournament in Ohio. Both men pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of wildlife and were forced to give up their fishing licenses for 3 years. They will be sentenced for stuffing the fish with lead weights and fillets in order to win the tourney. The two men would have won $28,000 if they did not get caught. Their sentencing will take place in May, and the prosecutor is recommending 6 months of probation. Cominsky agreed to give up his bass boat, worth an estimated $100,000.
