News reports indicate that state police were called out to a residence in Tyrone Twp Sunday afternoon the resident of the house called police to report that someone was shooting at him and the residence. The caller reported that he believed the shooter was 62 year old Craig Burns of Altoona. Burns is thought to be the landlord of the house in question. The tenant says that he heard gunshots, walked to his front door and heard another shot, that he said hit the wooden frame around the door. He said another shot hit the porch and another shattered a window in his car. Burns was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm, illegally discharging a firearm and reckless endangerment. He is in the Blair County jail on $100,000 bail.
