State Police report that 44 year old Melissa Draeger of alum bank, was driving along Sarah Furnace road on the William Penn highway in king twp shortly before 8 am Monday, when she was struck by a tractor trailer. The report indicates that the driver of the tractor trailer ran through a stop sign and hit Dreager’s car. Ms. Draeger was killed at the scene. There was no medical information or identification about the truck driver released, of if any charges will be filed. The investigation is continuing.
