The reports indicates that Fetterman may return by April 17th, but the AP could not confirm that because the person who gave them the information was not authorized by Fetterman’s office to give out the information about his planned return or his current medical condition. Fetterman has been hospitalized for the last 6 weeks for cronic clinical depression, and was barely on the job for a month before he checked into Walter Reed Military Hosptial. He is still recovering from a stroke he suffered just before the primary election last May.
