State police report that they stopped a maroon Ford Escape last Sunday at 2:14 in the morning while heading south on I-99 in Huston Twp. After he was stopped, the teen suddenly pulled back onto the highway and led state police on the high speed chase. The teen crashed into a creek on Reese Hollow Road where he was apprehended. Troopers reported that the suspect fled his home and took the family car without permission to see a girlfriend in northwest PA. Charges against the 16 year old are pending.
