WJAC reports that Orsino Thurman of Wisconsin was set to stand trial on charged that he exchanged gunfire with an Everett resident when the black lives matter protesters came through Bedford County back in 2020. Thurman had apparently settled for a plea deal, but word came yesterday that Thurman has rejected any plea agreement, and will now stand trial on may 23rd. The Everett man involved, Terry Myers was charged, but had most of those charges dismissed, after agreeing to testify against Thurman.
