Homegrown Rocker Playlist/Recap 3/26/23

Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the March 26 edition of “The Homegrown Rocker,” which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), and from 10 PM to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm)!

We returned to the mailboxes on this week’s program to explore some of the new recordings that have arrived in recent weeks. As this always means, we played lots of new tunes from local and regional bands and artists! We broke out new tunes from Radio 45, Dave Nagle, Don Hughes, Sue Bloom, The Jeremy Edge Project, Mile Hill Band, Sommelier, Nick Andrew Staver, Lone Crow Rebellion, John Peacefire, Helios (featuring the late Tim Aymar on lead vocals) and The Heathen Parade! We also updated “Local Music News,” dug out a 1998 “rock-a-pella” number by Del Coy from the archive for our “Local Music Flashback,” stepped “Across State Lines” to hear a number from Pasadena, California’s Hexicon, and reviewed Cody Tyler & Gypsy Convoy’s debut album, “Stare Your Demons Down,” in “The Professor’s CD Corner!” (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94’s website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on “The Professor’s Classroom,” and then scroll down to “Homegrown Rocker Podcast” and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 032623.)
