The Altoona Mirror reported that police arrested 29 year old Aaron Smith in Altoona last Wednesday. According to the report, Smith is a suspect in the shooting death of a 23 year old man in the North Hills section of Pittsburgh. After is arrest, Smith was taken back to Pittsburgh and was arraigned on murder charges along with criminal conspiracy, felony possession of a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license. Pittsburgh and Altoona police did not say how Smith came to Altoona, or what he was doing in the city. He is locked up in the Allegheny County jail.
