Election results from yesterday show that local businessman Bob Pacifico garnered the most votes of all candidates vying for the board. Pacifico collected 3233 republican votes and 1141 democratic votes. On the republican side, former AASD employee Mike Pappas finished second in the balloting, followed by Justin McCaulley and John Romanowicz. On the democratic vote, Bridgette Jackson was the top vote getter with 1383, followed by Pacifico. McCaulley, Grace Ann Quinn and current board member Christopher Cook. So for November in Altoona it will be Pacifico, McCaulley. Pappas, Romanowicz, Jackson, Quinn and Cook for 5 seats.
