News reports indicate that Wegman’s 30 oz containers of Penne Rigate Mozzarella salad has been recalled due to mislabeling. The package is listed as the Penne salad on top of the package, but on the side of the container, it is labeled as macaroni salad. The package states that the salad contains an ingredient for the macaroni salad, but in a different container. This could led to allergy problems if people are not aware of the mix up. If you are not sure, Wegman’s in State College says if you bought the product with code # 3515-2 and the use by date of 6/1, then you can get a full refund by bringing the product back to the store.
