According to a news report by WJAC, police have charged a Blair County man with the rape of a 12 year old girl earlier this year. 24 year old Jesus Amour Romero is charged with taking the girl to the logan hills apartment complex, and engaged in various sexual activities. The victim told police that Romero picked her up from her home and they were taken to Logan Hills. Romero reportedly told the victim not to tell anyone, because he did not want go to court. Romero is charged with rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors. He is locked up in the Blair county jail on $350,000 bail. Police also report that Romero may be wanted in New York for the same charges.
