A weekend report by the Altoona Mirror indicates that police in northern Blair County arrested 29 year old Mary Ann Philbrick of Panama, NY after she allegedly pushed a woman out of her own suv and stole the vehicle. Police say that the victim picked up Philbrick, when both women had just left the st. Joseph’s institute in Port Matilda. Police say that Philbrick became violent and pushed the victim of out of the vehicle, then knocked her to the ground and stole her suv. Philbrick was spotted in Dubois around 4:45 am on June 2, after she had abandoned the suv along I-80. Philbrick then gave police a phony name, before confessing to the crime.
