According to the Altoona Mirror, Judge Wade Kagaraise sentenced 39 year old John Mattiello to serve 11-23.5 months in jail for breaking into a home on bell avenue and attacking one of the residents inside. The report states that Mattiello went to the home to see a woman who he became infatuated with in their drug and alcohol classes. Once inside the home, Mattiello is reported to have struck the woman’s husband and a third party at the home. Mattiello was then forced out of the house, where he proceeded to punch out numerous windows on the front porch of the house. He pleaded guilty to 14 charges in the case.
