A report by WJAC indicates that the weekly wing festival will kick off its summer season this Thursday. The weekly festival will be held each Thursday thru august 17th, and will feature wings from local bars and restaurants. Alcohol will be served at the wing festival, but you must be 21 in order to drink. The festival will be held at Legion Park in Hollidaysburg each week from 5-9 pm. Admission is free, but donations are being collected. There will also be musical entertainment each week with many local bands in the area taking part. Money collected will help defray costs associated with the event, plus it will go to children’s programs and suicide prevention for military veterans.
