A guily plea in federal court from an Altoona man charged with receiving unemployment benefits under the names of seven people. 62 year old Thomas Brace copped a plea to conspiring to defraud the New York State Department of Labor. He and two co-conspirators used fake claims to pocket hundreds of thousands of dollars in unemployment benefits to which they weren’t entitled.
