Television news reports indicate the crash occurred on Rt. 64 near the area of Hecla Park and the Bellefonte Sports Academy. State police reported that a grand caravan was heading westbound on the highway when it apparently collided with a horse and buggy. 50 year old Edward Peachey of Howard along with 2 teenage boys were injured. One of the boys was life flighted to Williamsport, while the second was taken to Mt. Nittany Medical Center by ambulance. The unidentified driver of the caravan was taken to the hospital, but was not injured. State police are investigating to find the cause.
