News reports had Davis touring Pennsylvania talking to local leaders about making communities safer. Davis’ message is a simple one, that gun violence is a problem, but it is one that can be brought under control. Davis says that violence prevention program are the first step to hopefully preventing gun violence. Davis says that a collective effort by law enforcement, religious leaders, health care providers, public heath experts and civic leaders can help reduce gun violence with treatment and education. The tour will last into next week across the state.
