$14 million worth of drugs confiscated in 2nd qtr

In a report released by the state police, troopers confiscated some $14 million worth of drugs from the streets of Pa. 144 lbs of cocaine, 164 lbs of methamphetamines, 60 lbs of fentanyl,11 lbs of heroin and 1617 lbs of processed marijuana were taken of of the streets. Also, state police rounded up more than 74,000 narcotics pills. State police also reported that they collected some 1227 lbs of prescription medications through their prescription drug take back program, which are destroyed once they have been received.
