According to news reports, the crash occurred in Breezewood yesterday. A camper driven by 55 year old Todd Newcomer of Indian Trail went out of control on Lincoln Highway near North Breezewood road, after its brakes failed. That caused the camper to crash into the back of a Freightliner 18 wheeler. Both vehicles were moved some 200 feet after impact. Newcomer and 55 year old Amy Kent were both seriously injured and were taken to a nearby hospital. The truck driver was not injured. No other details were released by investigators.
