A check of the legislative schedule has the House of Representatives out of session until Sept. 26th, and the Senate is out until it reconvenes on Sept 18th. Also for the record, after those dates pass, the senate is scheduled to be in session a grand total of 18 days, while the house is scheduled to be in session for 14 days. And these schedules are for the calendar months of September, October and November for both chambers, and December for the Senate.
