Many communities across the country will take part in festivities. In our area, the annual celebration will be held in Duncansville from 6-9 pm tonite in the parking lot of the Antique Depot. Festivities will include a parade and a car show, both of which will begin at 6:00, and the evening will end with a fireworks display. In Altoona, police will also be celebrating the event at heritage plaza in downtown. There will be music, food and entertainment. All are welcome to attend both events.
