WTAJ reports that Logan Twp police arrested James Watts Jr and an unidentified juvenile at a residence on the 100 block of east 6th avenue in Altoona. Watts and the juvenile had entered the building which was under surveillance on Monday. Officers said that the suspects entered the building carrying backpacks. They also reported that they stopped several people who were seen leaving the building and allegedly were in possession of drugs. One of those stopped told officers that two people from Pittsburgh were inside. Watts and the teenager tried to run from police after being confronted but were caught after a brief foot chase. Police found heroin, crack cocaine, pills, marijuana and cash. Both are facing numerous charges.
