A report by WJAC indicates that police have charged 34 year old Derek Bullard of Killing 79 year old Roberto Quevada in June. The report says that Bullard allegedly killed Quevada by strangulation, then he wrapped the victim up in a blanket and left him in his bunk. Bullard is reported to have told police that he was hearing voices, and they told him they would stop if he killed Quevada. Bullard was serving a 12-30 year sentence for beating his 3 month old son back in 2012. Quevada was a convicted child rapist. Bullard now faces charges of criminal homicide, aggravated assault and strangulation.
