WTAJ is reporting that Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown is switching to a 4 day week for students beginning with this year. The board of trustees at McCort voted in favor of this, to allow students to use Friday as a learning day outside the classroom setting. According to the story, the students will not have Friday’s off, rather they will participate in what is called an enrichment day, by taking field trips and doing other out of school activities. Principal tom smith told channel 10 that this wili benefit both students and teachers.
