A report by WJAC indicates that charges have been filed against 26 year old Zachary Huber for the deliberate physical harm he allegedly inflicted on a 2 year old child. Police report that Huber told them the child had fallen off of a scooter, and suffered a fractured skull and femur bone. Upon examination at UPMC Childrens Hospital, doctors determined that the child’s injuries were not the result of a fall, rather by physical abuse. A 2 month old girl also entrusted to Huber’s care, was also found to have suffered injuries. Huber is charged with felony aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children. He is locked up in the Blair County jail on $75,000 bond.
