In a report out of Harrisburg, the state Inspector General’s office said that the new list of alleged fraudsters includes those charged with taking public assistance they were not entitled to. The amount comes to more than $309,000. Those that were charged will be suspended from receiving further assistance. If convicted, the people charged could face prison time and fines. Those charged allegedly received snap benefits, also cash assistance or subsidized daycare.
