Original Story: 11:35 PM
This just in from the Claysburg-Kimmel School District Facebook page: “The Claysburg Kimmel School District received a bomb threat email this morning. Many districts across the commonwealth and nationally have received the same or similar emails. The Pennsylvania Criminal Intelligence Center has no information to indicate these are credible threats. We contacted 911, the State Police, and Local Police. They are mandating that we evacuate the high school and Elementary school.
We were advised, out of an abundance of caution, to evacuate our buildings. Emergency evacuation procedures are being followed. We will keep you updated on the situation. Please do not report to district buildings at this time, this will slow emergency processes. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.”
Hollidaysburg Area School District has also received this treat and has also evacuated.
