A report by WJAC indicates that charges against Charles Mobley were dropped last week after a witness failed to show to testify. Mobley was accused of an attempted shooting at a child’s birthday party back in April. Mobley was on the run from police for months before his arrest. Mobley was scheduled to be in Blair County court on Friday for a trial by court. The district attorney’s office says it plans to try and refile the charges, and petition the witness to testify.
