The Altoona Mirror reported that 30 year old Derek Louk was sentenced to 15-30 years in prison for the shooting death of his cousin, Tyler Matthai last year. An accomplice in the case, 20 year old Jordon Robertson was given a term of 23 months in jail for helping Louk dispose of Matthai’s body. Matthai was killed in April of 2022 by Louk after he said he witnessed Matthai abusing his girlfriend, Courtney Boden, she was also given a prison sentence of 27 months to 12 years for her part in the abuse of a corpse. Both Louk and Robertson will have to pay fines and restitution to the state.
