A report by WTAJ indicates that the city and Mayor Matt Pacifico have launched the annual paint the plow campaign. The contest is for students to paint a mural type painting on city snowplow blades. 4 Altoona elementry schools were chosen to take part they are… Mcauliffe Heights, Juniata Gap, Holy Trinity Elementary in Fairview and in Eldorado. 2 plows will be chosen as winners, one by a judge, the other by a public vote. The winning plows will then be featured during the annual Altoona Spirit of Christmas parade on December 2nd. Voting information will be released sometime next month.
