WJAC reported that owner Leo Karulli says he does not want the storage facility to go into the former sears building at the mall. According to the report, the sears store was sold separately from the rest the mall, which did not belong to Karulli when he purchased the mall nearly 2 years ago. Karulli says the kind of vehicle and foot traffic a storage facility would bring, would harm the mall. He says he wants to build the mall back to what it once was for shoppers. Supporters of the mall say they might seek legal action if necessary.
