According to a police report from Clearfield County, and a story by WTAJ, police have charged 40 year old Shane Nevling of Clearfield and 40 year old Shawn Nevling of Curwensville for allegedly stealing some $22,000 over the course of 13 days. The report states that staff members reported the theft last month. Police indicate that Shane was removing bank deposits from the restaurant and giving them to Shawn who was off work. The 8 bank deposits in question never made it to the bank. Both Nevlings are charged with dealing with proceeds from unlawful activity, criminal conspiracy to commit theft, receiving stolen property and several more charges.
