The poll conducted by Quinnipiac University shows Casey with a 50-44% lead over challenger Dave McCormick in the race for Casey’s senate seat. McCormick failed in his last bid to become a U.S. Senator, when he lost to Mehmet Oz in the 2022 Pa primary election. Those surveyed in the poll, say they don’t know enough about McCormick to vote for him right now. He did however show strong with college graduates, white men and voters between the ages of 50-64. Casey was favored among women, voters 18-34 and voters 65 and older. A quick shot at the Presidential race in Pa, if it were to happen today, Donald Trump leads Joe Biden 47-45%. And the three top issues for Pennsylvanians are the economy, preserving democracy and immigration.
