Television news reports indicate that charges have been filed against Captain Michael Plunkard for trying to sell a vehicle that he still owed money on. The victim told police she saw an ad posted on Facebook, someone selling a jeep for $12,000. Plunkard told the woman the title to the vehicle was going to be a few days because he still had a small loan out. Turns out that loan was for $29,000. Plunkard is accused of cashing the check he was given, but he never returned any messages the woman sent. The victim says she found out that Plunkard allegedly used the money for other transactions and not the jeep. He is charged with theft
