A report by WJAC indicates that charges have been filed against 67 year old Anthony Petracca Jr for allegedly possessing child pornography. Few details were released, but police say that Petracca was charged with 31 felony counts of child pornography. The Attorney General’s office who is handling the investigation says they found some 30 files containing the materials on a Verizon account related to Petracca. The center for missing and exploited children alerted the AG’s office about the activity on the account. Petracca has not served as a priest since 2017 when he was put on leave by the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese.
