A report by WTAJ indicates that Rep. Jim Gregory is sponsoring a bill that would allow the use of private citizens and groups to help track down and catch child predators. Gregory says that some 20% of children are being hunted by sexual predators over the internet, and he wants to put a stop to it in Pa. 1 case in Clearfield County was dismissed because the group 814 Pred Hunters cannot act as law enforcement, and to also act as underage decoys to lure predators out into the open. Gregory says his bill would allow for these predators to be prosecuted under the law. He says pass the bill, and let judges determine the constitutionality of such a bill.
